While reds and pinks bridal lehengas will always be mainstream colours, brides are now experimenting with off-beat colours for their big day. From shades of blues, greens to purples, we have seen a lot of different and unique lehenga colours in the last few years.
And, the one colour we’d like to see more in 2019 is purple. While many brides in the past, have picked up this hue for their pre-wedding festivities, we loved how bride Rutuja went for a lavender bridal lehenga.
For her day wedding in Mussoorie, the bride picked up a lehenga from Mumbai-based designer Tamanna Punjabi Kapoor. Rutuja wore the purple lehenga with a pink coloured blouse. She styled the minimalist embroidery lehenga with a matching purple colour dupatta on her shoulder and a powder pink dupatta on her head as a veil. When it came to her jewels, she accessorised the look with an elaborate choker necklace, earrings and a maang tikka.
Keeping her look minimal, she went for a simple make-up with this ensemble and looked every bit ethereal. From the serene backdrop to her dreamy lehenga, we can’t stop looking at the gorgeous photos.
We think Rutuja looked lovely in her gorgeous lehenga. Tell us how did you like the ensemble in the comment section below.
